L' Invitation is a luxury travel agency start up
in Paris, France.
To create a logo for a luxury travel agency in France, I drew inspiration from an enchanting narrative the client shared. They had stumbled upon an old book of French poetry and were captivated by Charles Baudelaire's "L’invitation au Voyage." The lines “Là, tout n’est qu’ordre et beauté, Luxe, calme, et volupté” resonated deeply, embodying the essence of beauty, symmetry, delight, calm, and luxury that the agency promised. An addition of the number fourteen elegantly referenced both King Louis XIV, the epitome of luxury, and the significant date of April 14th, marking the inauguration of the Paris World Fair in 1900. Additionally, the number 14 held personal significance as it was tied to their favorite seaside getaway. I encapsulated this rich heritage and the opulence of their narrative into a sophisticated logo that reflects the timeless luxury and refined experiences they offer.
